This is a very charming Vermont. The location is couldn't be more perfect if you like to be close to the slope and to the town. Walk to the supermarket in 5 mins! The outdoor gas fire pit is wonderful for cool Autumn nights! We also like the farm house kitchen.

2 Doors Down was the perfect place to stay! It was super clean and very cozy. Plenty of space for a family of 4 to spread out. The game room had plenty to do between days on the slopes. The perfect ski house! Location to Okemo couldn’t be better!!! Bob was super responsive and very accommodating!! His book of restaurants in the area was very helpful! Definitely the place to stay when skiing at Okemo!!!!

2DoorsDown is extraordinary value: a really comfortable, large space with a great games room an extremely cosy (meaning comfortable, not small) den and a kitchen and dining room where you could cook to your hearts content. We appreciated the many thoughtful touches - from the breakfast fixings (including a complementary bottle of family-made maple syrup) to the keurig capsules for the coffee maker, and so much more. And most importantly this location is extraordinarily close to the Okemo base lodge as well as to Ludlow downtown. We strongly recommend this Airbnb.

Bob is a superhost! We got stuck at his place during the snow storm that gave Ludlow 44" of snow on the last night of our stay. We were stranded in Vermont and Bob helped us out and let us stay an extra day even though the cleaning crew already showed up. The house is amazing and has tons of games to explore. The photos do not do this house justice, it is amazing. We will be staying there again.

Beautiful stay in Vermont. We rented this place to have a little family gathering and it was perfect. The house you stay in is stunning and has lots of thoughtful touches. The old farmhouse is a relaxing stay that really had me considering moving to Vermont myself. It is close to all that Ludlow has to offer and is a quick and easy walk to an Irish pub that has a great selection of beer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and we hope to be back ourselves.

The place was very large and had a lot of nice touches like the game room and well stocked kitchen with pots, plates and glassware. The location is great, in Ludlow near the main area and close to many hiking trails and lakes. We also enjoyed the fire pit and grill outside.

We are a family with 3 young kids (8,5,2) stayed 3 weeks at Bob's place during the summer and had an amazing stay. Bob is a great host. Very responsive and always happy to help with any questions or recommendations we needed. Before our stay Bob was in touch and made sure we have everything we need for our long stay. He provided us with a very long list of hiking, nature activities and other recommendations. The house itself is perfect for a family with kids. Kitchen is fully equipped (they even have a waffle maker :)). Game room with tons of family games and fun things to do together (we enjoyed it very much on the rainy days). The house also have a yard with really fun patio with BBQ and fire pit that we enjoyed in the late afternoon. This place is highly recommended. Thank you Bob for a perfect stay!

Really fantastic place. Warm and cozy in the winter, right next to Mt. Okemo, and an easy walk into town. Honestly it was perfect. We were a group of 5 friends reconnecting for a ski weekend and everything about 2 Doors Down was ideal. We had high expectations based off other reviews and we were not the least bit disappointed. Hosts were available for communication if needed and responsive. Amenities were very good, and checkout instructions were simple and easy. We’ll be back.

Bob's home was a perfect outpost for a two-family ski outing. The layout was perfect for four adults and four children, all 13 and under, to enjoy cozy fireside after-skiing hangs and meals and the home was large enough for us to fit comfortably and maintain some privacy. The location couldn't be more convenient -- a few hundred yards from the mountain entrance and close to local restaurants and bars. Bob from the start was extremely responsive and hospitable. The place was clean and charming. We'll be back again.

This house is great! Bob was very helpful and a great host when preparing for my trip. He also was hands off while we were enjoying the house. The location is wonderful, very close to the Mountain and shops/ coffee and good food. The game room is a great bonus and the house was well stocked and had nice touches throughout to make our stay easy, I liked the open cabinets in the kitchen, the whole group could get what they needed with out having to open all of the cabinets. I definitely recommend renting two doors down!

A great old VT home in a super convenient location! Bob is great with communication, and we had a really great stay. There is certainly something to say about staying in town. About as close as you can get to Okemo without being SI/SO. Wonderful farm house that had a surprisingly great kitchen set up. Linens were extra, which surprised us but were extremely well priced when added to the house listing. Bob was great and was extremely responsive to any texts the entire trip. Would definitely come back!

We had a great time at Bob's house. It was the perfect set up for the kids. They had their own bunk room with tons of games and the room with the pool table, just off the bunk room, provided hours of entertainment. Plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and had everything you might need. The location was perfect for us. Easy to get in and out of and close to everything. We would definitely stay again.

Bob & Sue's Ludlow home is a hidden gem. The house is warm, comfy & wonderfully equipped with all the amenities you may need. It is literally "2 doors down" from the mountain access road, restaurants, cafes/bakeries, & ski rental shops. We couldn't have asked for a better "home base" for our family ski vacation. A big highlight was the new fireplace they have just installed. Bob was a wonderful communicator throughout the process & was readily available to answer any questions that came up! We opted for the extra linen service (not included in base price) & that was totally worth it! Looking forward to our return trip!

This place is great - the hosts have really thought about what guests might need. Great beds and pillows, lots of hooks near the door and in the bathroom, cubbies for bathroom items, every kitchen item you can think of, tons of couch space and eating space. The house is right at the bottom of the access road to Okemo. The road can get busy and there was some traffic noise in the front rooms but the house is so big it's easy to avoid. There's a pool table too, small but really nicely set up. TVs everywhere, with tons of DVDs and board games. Wifi was easy and great. Really easy to get in and out of the house using a code, so no hassle with keys. We were in contact with the host via text, very responsive. Tons of off-street parking. Totally recommend!

My parents and I stayed here while we skied Okemo, and we loved Bob's place! It's a great place if you need to sleep many people comfortably, and Bob is very accommodating. The house is awesome--has the feel of an old house, but with updated features for all the comforts of a modern hotel. Would definitely stay again!

Two doors down has an amazing location, a great kitchen, and room to sleep 12 comfortably. Bob is an amazing host, responsive and generous. The only downside is the one bathroom. I can't recommend this enough for medium to large groups.

This old farmhouse has modern amenities, is super charming, and has an amazingly convenient location (2 minutes from Okemo, and a short walk to the best pub in town). Also, Bob is incredibly attentive, responsive, and helpful—he genuinely wants to ensure you have a most enjoyable stay.

GREAT location; charming and spacious old farmhouse; copious sleeping accommodations -- sleeps truly 12 people; great kids area (separate with bunks for 4) with a game room, own TV, and all kinds of board games; with well fortified kitchen, coffee area and booze bar; WIFI; multiple flat screen TVs (four?); sizable dining room thats seats 10 comfortably; all in all a unique property we will almost surely visit again, but with a third small family as we had room for four more bodies!

Bob's house was big, clean, comfortable, and included well-appointed furnishings and decor. It's on the same block as the Okemo access road and walking distance to a number of restaurants, bars, and supermarket. The kitchen was very well stocked and we enjoyed the many board games! Although we only brought two cars parking is plentiful. I would 100% recommend this house.

The house is in a great location for skiers, less than 3 minute drive to the parking lots at Okemo and we noticed a shuttle dropping off out front on the weekend. The owner is excellent with communication.

When they say that the house is two doors down from everything you need, they are not kidding. From a large grocery store to the Irish pub down the street, it was so easy to feel comfortable and take care of anything we wanted to do. Not to mention the fact that it's a 3 minute drive from the Okemo parking lot and super close to the shuttle. We had a group that included skiers and non-skiers, and everyone found so much to do within a quick walk or drive from the house. The house itself is beautiful, and perfect for hanging out by the fireplace with hot chocolate and board games. The kitchen so well stocked that we were able to pull together dinners for our whole 8 person group with ease. Everything was so clean, cozy, and organized that many of us didn't want to leave. And Bob made it incredibly convenient for us to check in and check out, as well as staying in contact with us for any of our needs during our stay. Can't wait til the next time we can drop by!
